Care and Maintenance

In accordance with Ontario Cemetery Laws, a Care and Maintenance Trust Account has been established, which is designed to ensure that funds will always be available for the perpetual care and maintenance of the mausoleum.

With the sale of each crypt, twenty percent of the purchase price, by law, is deposited into this Trust Account, and fifteen percent of the purchase price for a cremation niche.  This principal amount invested can never be withdrawn from the account, but the interest earned is paid out annually to the mausoleum and is used specifically for the care and maintenance of the structure and property.

This ensures that Fairview Mausoleum will remain a place of dignity and serenity, at no further expense to families who have purchased crypts or niches (Interment Rights) with us.
